Dr. Richard & Pastor Gail are the Senior Pastors and Founders of Spirit Life Church. Before moving to Ocala in 1990, they served as pastoral staff members at Orlando Christian Center. Dr. Richard and Pastor Gail were high school sweethearts and have been happily married for over 25 years. They both travel extensively, with Dr. Richard visiting nearly 60 nations. In June 2000, he received his Master’s Degree in Theological Studies and in March 2002, he received his Doctorate in Ministry from Brewer Christian College and Graduate School located in Jacksonville, Florida. Their two grown children, Ricky & Kristen, work with them as an active part of the Spirit Life ministry.

Pastor Lindsey is a native of Sioux City, Iowa. In 1991, he relocated to Kissimmee, Florida to pursue a career in Contemporary Christian music as a member of the group “Area Code”, signed with Myrrh Records. The group later disbanded and in 1993 he moved to Ocala to become the Worship Pastor/Music Director of Spirit Life Church. Pastor Lindsey writes and arranges new music and has produced albums for Spirit Life Church, a variety of artists and other churches as well. Over the years, his leadership role has expanded beyond Worship and Music and Pastor Lindsey now serves as the Senior Associate Pastor of Spirit Life Church, assisting to oversee the Gainesville and Ocala locations.

Pastors Chris & Bonnie moved from Orlando, Florida to join Spirit Life Church shortly after its founding in 1990. Their previous ministry experience includes: Bible School Pastors and Youth Pastors, as well as Senior Pastors for three years in Lansing, Michigan. With a passion for training and mentoring new leaders, Pastor Chris oversees many of our volunteer teams and handles the day to day operations of the church. Pastor Bonnie serves as the Operations Manager for our media company, Proton Global Media Group. Pastor Bonnie also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Central Florida.

Pastor Tristan Kennedy came to Spirit Life Church as a high school student in 1999. Since graduation, his passion for God and love for young people have opened many doors for ministry, including our public school mentoring program, Strength of the Young. In addition, Pastor Tristan has traveled to more than 20 nations, reaching out to youth all over the world. Kristen is the daughter of Dr. Richard & Pastor Gail Perinchief and has been a part of Spirit Life staff since she was thirteen years old. She has served in a variety of roles including Accounting Assistant, Receptionist, Administrator and Office Manager. She is currently the Events Coordinator/Creative Director. Pastor Tristan and Kristen were married in March 2007 and serve as our youth pastors.
